Kriselle Magsino Counselling

Welcome, I am dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns.

About me

My name is Kriselle. I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and a BACP registered member, specialising in working with children and young people. I offer individual one-to-one psychodynamic counselling for children and young people of all ages for a variety of presenting issues.

I have a passion for helping others; this is seen through my extensive experience working with children, young people, and adults before becoming a counsellor. I have worked in education settings, charities and within the NHS. I have experience working with individuals from different backgrounds, aiding individuals to live independently and reach their goals.

I use my knowledge and professional background in the counselling sessions that I provide. By providing an honest, non-judgmental, and empathetic space for clients, I am able to establish a therapeutic relationship with the clients that I see, making sure that they feel seen and heard. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most impactful tool for change and development. Together, we can work to build resilience and growth.

What is counselling?

Counselling is about untangling emotions and experiences that feel too overwhelming to sort through on your own.

You might arrive with a disorganised, tangled ball of emotions, thoughts, and fears.

Making sense of it all may seem unattainable.

However, as we converse, I will guide you toward relief, understanding, and clarity by helping you sort through the mess one piece at a time.

Counselling is a process; it isn’t a quick fix. It is about breaking things down, exploring patterns, and finding new ways to cope.

Sometimes, simply expressing things aloud makes them feel more bearable. Other times, it may take time to sit with emotions and work through them.

Waiting until you are at your breaking point is not necessary. Regardless of where you are in your journey, you deserve support.

Know that you are not alone if this speaks to you. There is support available, and healing is achievable. One step at a time.
